Biography

Pasquala was born in 1840 to Giuseppe La Sala and Benigna Tumminello ^[1], a middle class family. In 1856, at age 15 (marriage record says 16), she married 22-year-old Antonino Campo, middle class ^[2].

Pasquala was named for her paternal grandmother, Pasquala Cipolla.
